Ken Whitman has spent decades doing one thing: building worlds and inviting people into them. From tabletop games to independent film, his work spans genres, media, and decades of creative risk-taking.
His game design career began in the golden age of tabletop RPGs, working alongside the legends of TSR — the studio that invented Dungeons & Dragons. That experience shaped everything: a deep respect for craft, a belief that games should create real moments, and an obsession with what makes a system sing.
His films carry the same DNA — raw, independent, and made with everything on the line. Whether it’s a murder mystery, a survival horror shot in Alaska, or a heartfelt holiday drama, the goal is always the same: make something that stays with you.
